Another One of the Lion: This photo is currently the desktop image on my second monitor (my laptop screen). I can’t stop staring at it. Since the first trip I made to the museum, I haven’t forgotten the lion. It took me a long time to figure out why. I work on the web. Nothing I create will be around for over two thousand years. I’m lucky if the things I work on live for a year, maybe two. The person who carved this lion lived over two thousand years ago, and the work is still “alive” and being enjoyed. Bits corrode faster than metal or stone ever could. (and it does look better large)
